The girls played at Conway Country Club yesterday (conference) and today (state). Yesterday, the mounties won the 6A west conference and Anna and Elizabeth were both All-conference. Elizabeth shot a 81 with a 2 stroke penalty for hitting the wrong ball. Anna shot an 83. Kate shot an 85 after a rough start. Today, the team finished behind Mount St. Marys. Elizabeth finished 6th (78) and was All State. Anna missed all state by 1 (11th, 83), and Kate finished 15th (87). Peepaw was able to watch them both days and Jack came today to watch them and John watched yesterday. It was perfect weather, but the course was set up pretty tough with length with some narrow holes! It was a nice way to end their sophomore golf season.
