This is 44!

I had a nice day with my mom and dad in town. I ran a few miles in the morning with some friends. Mom and I walked Crystal Bridges with Ollie. I did a little school work, took a quiz and turned in two papers. After dance and golf, we had Olive Garden and cake.

 

Heritage Hills Golf

The kids all played at Heritage Hills today and Grandmom and Granddad were able to watch. The course lost some greens during the freeze last winter, so six of the holes were set up with temporary greens. So the kids were putting off the fairway. It was a little frustrating, especially for Elizabeth and Jack that really struggled with those holes. Jack finished 2nd with 80, Kate finished 2nd with 90, Anna was 3rd with a 92 and Elizabeth was 4th with a 99.

 

 

Big Party Girls

The girls were cast as big party girls this year and they will get to dance it en pointe! Today they had costume fittings.

LPGA 5K

The girls had a week off of cross country meets this weekend so they decided to run a 5k that was put on by the LPGA. They have not run a 5k in a while. Anna finished 2nd overall female with a time of 19:36 and won $75 in Walmart gift cards! Kate finished first in her age group (because Anna and Helen were over all winners) and won $25 to Walmart. Her time was 20:04. Elizabeth was second in her age group behind Kate with a time of 20:07. Their friends from Power up Track ran it too and Helen won overall female right in front of Anna. According to their watches, the course was a little short (around 3 miles). John also ran and set a PR!
