Mizzou Distance Festival

The girls ran the mile for the first time indoors at Mizzou. Anna ran 4:59.41, Elizabeth ran 5:03.26 and Kate ran 5:05.18. All three qualified for Nationals in Boston. Jack was able to make the trip from Indy and we spent the weekend with him. The girls had a small visit with Mizzou on Saturday while Jack and John hit the range. They met with the coaches and saw the athletic facilities. Saturday night we went to mass and then saw a movie. After brunch on Sunday, we headed home and Jack went back to Indy. It was a great weekend for all of us. 

First Quarter Grades

 Jack ended up with all A+s and one A- for a 3.95 GPA in his first semester. The girls had all As.

Washburn Open College Meet

 Kate wanted to run the 3k one more time to try to get the New Balance Standard for nationals. She missed it by 9 seconds at Pitt State. She ran in the fastest heat and finished 8th 10:18.59 which will qualify her.
