Library

I signed the kids for the children's reading program this summer today. I think it helps motivate Jack to read and the girls always love to be read to, so for them it is not much different. The kids have to read/be read to for 20-30 minutes a day and they get prizes every 10 days. It is pretty easy.

She loves this bead table!

Kate is showing me her bucket she got for signing up for the summer reading program.

Busy, Busy, Busy

We had a busy weekend! We had a baseball game Friday night, four showings, our last mass with Father O'Connor, and baseball pictures. Plus we were at the Curran's house on Saturday for lunch and the Hardman's house on Sunday to bounce in their bounce house! I also managed to do a thorough cleaning of the van--and boy did it need it! Phew! I am tired...

Jack has had some really good hits this year.

One of my favorite pictures of the girls--they look so happy!

(I included a lot of these pictures because I loved their smile(s) in them)

Love this picture of Jack

Jack had this letter for Father O'Connor. His last mass at St. Joe's is next weekend, but we will be out of town. In addition to giving him this letter, he also wanted to give him $5 from his wallet. When I asked what the money was for, he said,  "for a shake." Father's birthday was today, so yesterday when Jack handed him the envelope with the money, he told him the $5 was for a shake on his birthday. We will all miss him. He was an excellent priest to listen to each Sunday.
