St. Valentine's Craft

I offered to help out with Jack's Valentine's day party craft after getting this awesome idea from my good friend, Mary Ann. I love this craft about St. Valentine on his feast day. Another mom is going to print out a St. Valentine's prayer, to glue to the bottom. I think the kids will like it!

I had the girls try out the craft today after school. Jack, did not want to do the craft twice!

 

John thought they were the Pope...we will see if the kids get it on Friday.

Still No School...Swimming and then Back to School

Wednesday school was cancelled again, so I took the kids to the fitness center to swim. I figured it would be a change of scenery and hopefully let them expend some energy!

Thursday they finally went back to school, which was nice so the girls didn't miss anymore dance classes, swimming lessons and Jack had two basketball practices that evening, so we were thankful to be back into the normal routine again!

Snow, Superbowl, No School, More Snow and Ice...Still No School...

We got some snow on Sunday morning. School was cancelled on Monday. Then we has a little bit of snow and some sleet/ice early Tuesday morning and the kids are out tomorrow still. The weather here has been so cold here. Our neighbor told us it is the worst winter he can remember and he has lived here his whole life! So, we have been keeping busy indoors and playing outside, too.
