Softball Game #2, Baseball Games
The girls won their game tonight, 14-4. Mimi, Aunt Sue Sue, Sarah, Claire, Amy, Aunt Mary, Grandmom and Granddad were all able to see them play. They loved to see them hit the ball and how serious they are when they are fielding. Anna and Elizabeth had 3 at bats and 3 hits. Kate had 3 at bats and 2 hits (the last hit she hit it hard right to the first baseman and she was out).
Jack was playing in Fayetteville tonight too. We were all able to catch his first game. They won 17-1. Jack had the save in that game because he pitched the final inning. He had one walk and no hits in the inning. He also caught an inning and played first base. He had one hit, one strike out and one walk in the game and scored twice. They lost their second game by one 6-5. He had one walk and one strike out in that game.
We were thankful the family got to see them play!

Bentonville Film Festival
I took the kids to the BFF tonight with Grandmom and Granddad. This is the third year for the festival and there is all kinds of activities downtown to go along with the films that are shown around town.

Slay the 5K
The only pictures of our school's first 5k fundraiser are screen shots of the crazy storm that came in Saturday afternoon when we were supposed to be running the race. After working on the committee to plan this race the last eight months, it was disappointing that we couldn't actually run the race, but we did get a lot of things organized and learned a ton of information that we can use next year. There was a free race that was organized because a few races got cancelled this past week because of the rain that will take place in a few weeks.
It was a good call to cancel...we ended up getting six inches of rain and the park where the race was supposed to take place was flooded.
