New Clubs!

Jack got some new (hand-me-down) clubs from a friend. They are his first set of full clubs. He told me he has to practice every day before the Tulsa tournaments so he "doesn't embarrass himself." He also told me he wants to practice 50 days in-a-row. He has really starting to like golf.

Girls' Birthday Party

We decided to do the girls' birthday party as a swim party before school starts. Also, the Wakefields were visiting so it was really nice to have them at their party too. They invited some of their friends and spent about three hours in the pool--in between eating pizza and cake. They all chose different cakes. Kate had a cookie cake, Anna had an ice cream cake and Elizabeth wanted plain white cake and white icing. Instead of gifts, the girls's friends brought donations to the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter for women and children who are victims of physical and sexual abuse. They will tell you this was not their idea...but mom's...but they did agree to it. We were thankful it was a beautiful evening for the party.

Wakefield Visit

Granddad and the Wakefield girls all came to visit us on their way back to Houston. The girls had fun swimming, playing in the tree house, and Aunt Sarah took them all to the Native American Museum where they all got worry dolls. Granddad took Jack to play some golf.

Baby Birds

We have watched these baby birds hatch and grow for the last few months. They made a huge mess, but it was interesting!

Walmart Fan
