When I scheduled my surgery in August, knowing that I would be walking around my birthday at the end of September and running by the time the Christmas lights go on at the square kept me going. Today, I met a friend at the square for 30 minutes of running and it was a lovely way to start the day.
We stopped in Nashville to spend the night and got up early to look at Vandy and Belmont. I think they all liked the campus of Vandy the best. We drove back to Arkansas after being gone for nine days!
We left Foot Locker South and drove to UT. We made it in time to go to mass but then it was dark when we got around to driving around the campus. This campus was also very hilly and large!
The girls ran in the Foot Locker South regional meet. They dropped back to the freshman/sophomore race. Elizabeth finished first (18:54.14). Anna finished 4th (19:30.47), and Kate had a rough day finishing 5th (19:46.94). This is the last race of their sophomore season. They are ready for a week break.
Clemson had a really nice golf course and facility on the campus. After this visit, we drove the rest of the way to Charlotte.
