Season Finale Tournament--Springdale

Jack had his season finale tournament this weekend. They played a close game friday night, but ended up losing 3-2 with a runner on 3rd in the last inning! The lost on Saturday, too, with one bad inning. The score was 2-3, us, until a few errors (including Jack) that allowed 7 more runs to score with two outs...it was not pretty. They lost 9-3. Jack hit a line drive in that game right to the second baseman, and was hit by a pitch. Friday, he struck out and had a fly out. Jack struggled with his playing on Saturday and so he was determined to come back Sunday and play better. Unfortunately, the tournament got rained out, so we will have to wait until next week to play again.

Well Check

The girls had their well check today. They all grew! Anna was 64# (31st percentile) and 54.5 inches (58th percentile) and her BMI was 23rd percentile. Elizabeth weighed 56# (10th percentile) and was 51.5 inches tall (17th percentile). Her BMI was 17th percentile. Kate as 52.5 inches (28th percentile) and weighed 61# (22nd percentile). Her BMI was 30th percentile.

Jack went last week and Dr. O gave he $10 for his grades like he does every year. I asked the nurse on the way out if he does that for everyone, she said, no, only for a few. He gave the girls each $2 for their grades. Jack weighed 91# (40th percentile) and was 5'1" tall (60th percentile). His BMI was under the 50th percentile.

Let's Go Golfing #2, Summer Tour #1

The girls did great today on their second 6 hole tournament. In the 9-11 year old age group, Anna was second (overall), but first for girls with a 31. She improved 2 from last week. Elizabeth was third overall (2nd female) with a 32. She improved 8 strokes from last week. Kate as fourth overall, and 3rd for females with a 34. She improved 7 strokes from last week. They did pretty well! Jack finished first in the 12/13 year old boys for 9 holes at the Links at Rainbow Curve. He shot a 44 with a 9 on hole #8!

First Tee Golf Camp

The kids finished up their golf camp at the First Tee this week. They all got awards and had a ton of fun! Jack has been playing after the camp at the Blessings. He has played a ton of golf this week! He also had a golf lesson and that seemed to help him a ton. He is working on the stuff he learned.

Got these pictures from my boys (John and Jack) today. John was in New York and was on the floor of the stock exchange. Jack was playing golf at the Blessings. He has been really into playing golf and has played so much this week.

Picking Blueberries at Neal's Farm

We had fun picking blueberries at the Neal Family farm this year again. The blueberries are so good, they taste like candy!
