Kate's Ice

Kate's legs were a little sore from her meet on Saturday and track practice today.

 

Ice Skating

I think we have been ice skating every year with Emma. This year it was good that the ice skating rink was open a little longer! It was a beautiful day to skate around 50*. After, we went to track.

 

RHS vs. Lakeside

RHS freshman played Lakeside in a conference game. They lost to them earlier this year, but won today, 39-28. Jack was one of four players that did not play.

 

Track Meet with Power-Up

The track meet in Kansas was cancelled today, so Coach Mike decided to do a mock meet in town. Anna ran a 5:54 1600, Elizabeth ran a 6:25 1600, Kate and Anna battled it out for the 800 and ran 2:35.3 (Anna) and 2"35.8 (Kate). Both are PRs for them. Elizabeth did not run the 800. They ran the 200 and the 4x100 too. After, they went to get ice cream and were asked to "extras" for a movie that was filming downtown. 

 

RHS vs. BHS

We went to watch the RHS varsity basketball game play Bentonville. They kept it close, but ended up losing in the second half. The girls had fun watching and Jack likes to go with his friends.
