Christmas with the Scudders

Kate woke up with a fever and since Anna had just had strep, I took her to urgent care for a strep test. She was negative for strep, but positive for Flu A. Elizabeth also woke up not feeling 100% and by the afternoon, she had a fever too. They were able to open gifts though by taking motrin to feel better. We had pizza and salad at the Fraziers. The kids enjoyed the gift exchange.

Christmas Morning

We had a nice time opening gifts on Christmas morning. The kids slept in until almost 8am. Ollie went in the back to get his toy balls while he was waiting for them to wake up! They enjoyed all their clothes, ping pong table, make-up, jewelry, gift cards (Jack), and shoes. We all went to the track (except Jack) for a run in the afternoon.

Christmas Eve Children's Mass

The girls sang in the choir again, Night of Silence after communion. We had stuffed shells after mass at home.

 

University of Arkansas Indoor Track

It has been so cold outside, temps are almost -30* so we ventured to Fayetteville to run on the fastest track in the world! The girls did a 1k time trial. They finished 3:19, 3:23, and 3:25. Anna has been recovering from strep but still ran well. They did some 200S after the trial. It was fun to see the Arkansas girls practicing and one recognized the girls from this past summer on IG from AAU nationals.
