Apple Picking

We drive to Clarkville, AR just so we could pick apples on Saturday. It was almost a two hour drive! The kids love to pick the apples right off the tree and eat them. And they stay so fresh for so long. I made five apple pies on Sunday. Too bad none of the kids like apple pies. Jack ate a little of it, Anna wouldn't touch it, and Kate and Elizabeth ate the ice cream that wasn't touching the pie. It was a beautiful day and nice way to spend my 37th birthday.
