Kingwood Country Club Cool Pool and Houston's Museum of Natural History

Aunt Sarah had to work half of the day, so we met Aunt Nancy at the pool again in the morning. The kids again loved the slides, diving boards and lazy river. After showering all the kids, we took them to chick-Fila for lunch and let them play in the air conditioning (did I mention it was hot in Houston?!?! I think the heat index was 110-120 most of the week). Then, we met Sarah downtown at the Museum of Natural History. The kids, especially Jack though, loved the dinosaur bones the best. We also saw mummies and Jack was not a huge fan of those and then we saw rare jewels and stones. My favorite part was the chemistry lab downstairs, though! The Periodic Table of elements exhibit was really cool! After the museum, we went back home for dinner, but Uncle John took Jack to an Angles vs. Astro baseball game. He had a great time and had two hotdogs!

Jack wanted me to take pictures of him by a lot of these dinosaurs.

A real mummy

Jack took this picture. It symbolizes the unfinished pyramids of Egypt

Feeling baby Wakefield move! Everyone votes it is a GIRL! We shall see...

My favorite picture of Maggie hiding her face. She was one tired girl, and a little jealous, I think.

Kingwood Country Club Kids Night

After the beach, we went to Kingwood country club for kids' night. It was pirate themed and the kids got prizes and balloons and watched a show while they ate. After dinner, John took the kids for a walk on the golf course for 30 minutes while Sarah and I sat and relaxed (and I had a margarita!). It was super fun!
We found these dresses at the Gymboree outlet for $3.99 each so each of the girls got one.
