A Sleepover with Ella

 The girls had one more friend over for a sleepover this summer and they had a blast swimming, riding bikes, having tacos and ice cream, playing games and using the Easy Bake oven.

Let's Go Golfing--Final Tournament

The kids had their final match today at the Links of Springdale. PeePaw and GeeMaw stayed to caddie for them. Jack did not have his best day and ended up 4th overall with a 53. It was a tough course for the girls and they all lost a ball or two in the water. Elizabeth finished 4th (behind 3 boys) with a 41, Kate finished 5th with a 46 and Anna finished with a 48. It was a great summer and I believe all the kids learned so much and improved a ton.

PeePaw and GeeMaw Visit

The kids went bowling, played catch and swam while they visited. They stayed to watch them play golf and caddie for them too.

Washington D.C.

I made a trip to DC to watch the congressional hearing with John Engler, the USOC, the USAG and Athlete Advisory Board. It was a quick day trip, but we got a lot accomplished.

Rogers Aquatic Center

We met some friends at the aquatic center for one last time this summer. This has gotten so much easier each year as they get older.

I'm Sorry

The girls got into a little bit of trouble with John in the car on the way to the golf course and he ended  up taking them back home. They made him a sign and decorated his desk for when he came home. They also swept out the garage.  (and then made up a dance)

Let's Go Golfing

The girls played in their second to last 6 hole tournament today. Jack was sick so he didn't play. Elizabeth finished 3rd with a 34, Anna had a 39 and Kate finished with a 44. Next week they will play the final round to finish up the summer.
