Cleveland--Indians Game with Poinsattes and Old Friends

Since Granddad had an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic, we went up for the day too. We stayed with Phillip and Patty and went to an Indians game Wednesday night. The Wakefields joined us. The Indians won 19-4 and we saw 7 home runs in the game. Jack, Phillip, Granddad, Maggie, Anna, Grandmom and I went early to catch batting practice and Phillip caught a ball and gave it to Jack. Later, Jack was able to get it signed by one of the Red's pitchers. In the warm-ups, Jack got another ball and was interviewed by ESPN. He was told to ask a question and he asked "How many home runs will there be tonight?" In the middle of the game, we found the kids play area and the little kids enjoyed the game a little more after that. On Thursday after the appointment, we drove to Avon Lake, saw our old house (our neighbors were not home) and then drove to St. Joseph and Lake Erie before heading to our old friends, the Currans for lunch. We have not seen them for 5 years but everyone picked up where we left off. Jack had a great time playing with Sean, Catherine was super good entertaining the girls and Mary Anne and I could sit and visit.
