Summer is Here!

GeeMaw

PeePaw and GeeMaw came today and GeeMaw was a little bit sick and tired from flying all night. Anna and Elizabeth (later) helped her feel better outside.

Tornado!

We have had so much rain this spring...Today, we had a 45 minute tornado warning so the kids and I sat (slept) in the closet with Rocky.

Strawberry Picking

First day of summer vacation and after I went into my office to clean it up for the summer, I took Jack to the golf course, the girls to get their prizes for finishing their Take Flight book 4 at Claires (phone cases for their fake phones...) and running to Sam's Club, we all went to pick strawberries. Afterwards, they got slushes. The strawberries were so good!

NCAA Mens Championship

The men's championship was at the Blessings Golf Course, so John and Jack followed around the men from Oklahoma State yesterday. Today, we all went and watched some of them play in the finals for the team selection (down to 8 teams) and the individual championship. Jack also enjoyed watching Vanderbilt play.

Pillow Fight

The girls have had some sleepover with friends this summer. Emma and Ella spent the night after the party yesterday.

Memorial Day Weekend Party

We hosted a few friends over for Memorial Day Weekend. We had hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelon, cookies, and all the families brought food to share, too. The kids swam and the adults got to sit and relax most of the afternoon.

Baking Party

The girls and I had fun going to a baking party today. There was a contest to bake something that looks like regular food. We picked hot dogs. Our hot dogs were not very good (although tasty) compared to the other treats there. Beth Lunde won by vote by the kids and adults.
