Baseball State Tournament 12U

The season didn't end like it started, unfortunately. Jack's team played in the state tournament and did not do very well. They lost both pool play games and played a tough team Sunday morning to lose. Jack had one strike out, two ground outs and one hit (double) over the weekend. He also had one RBI (the only run scored all weekend). He played some at 2nd, and center field.

We ran into another SVdP family while in Conway for Jack's baseball games.

Let's Go Golfing and Summer Tour

The kids finished their last Let's Go Golfing" and Summer Tour events. Jack tied for first in his 9 holes (45) and Anna finished 3rd overall (32), Kate was 4th overall (35) and Elizabeth as 5th overall (37) for 6 holes. They finished 1,2,3 for girls 9-11.

Blueberry Picking with Friends

I went blueberry picking with some friends tonight. It was an auction item that Beth won, so she invited a few of us out for blueberries. I ended up taking home 2# of blueberries...! Fun night!

Drive, Chip and Putt

I took the kids to the Drive, Chip and Putt contest in Tulsa today. Anna did great! She won overall for 10-11 year old girls and one of her chips went in! Kate came in 3rd so she will advance to the sub-regional with Anna next month. Elizabeth struggled on the drive--two went out of bounds and the chipping. Jack also struggled on the drives with two going out of bounds as well.

After, we went to the mall and to Cheesecake Factory for lunch

Pinnacle LPGA Pro-Am

John had the opportunity to play in the pro-am this year, part of the LPGA. The girls and I watched a few holes, and Jack stayed through the whole round. He played with Marissa Steen. Their team finished 11 under. The girls and I stopped by the kid's tent after we watched him and they were able to make a bath bomb.

Yoga by Dove at the LPGA

The girls and I did yoga on the course at the LPGA with some other friends today. They love going to this event. They give them yoga mats and water bottles. Jack, meanwhile, was playing golf like he has been doing so much this year. He plays at the Blessings now that I can drop him off.
