Red Sox vs. Rays

We had such a great time at the Red Sox game in Fenway. They ended up losing, but it was an exciting game seeing Benintendi hit a home run to the Green Monster and Sean caught a foul ball and gave it to Jack. Jack was also able to get a few autographs before the game started.

Freedom Trail

We did a Freedom Trail tour today that ended with Beacon Hill and Copley Square. It was a lot of walking, but the history of the city is so cool.

Old State House/Boston massacre is where we started our tour.

WWII, Boston Tea Party Museum and Walk to Commons and Public Garden

We met Sue and her boys at the Tea Party Museum. The coolest part of the tour was throwing the tea into the harbor! Afterward, we walked through the North End for some lunch (Legal Seafood), stopping to see the WWII Auschwitz memorial, and then we went back to the hotel to rest. In the afternoon, we walked to the Commons and the Public Garden, then to the Prudential Center (stopping to look at Restoration Hardware) to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. It was a lot of walking and a ton of heat, but the kids did well.

We stopped at Mike's Pastry's for some dessert and then got some gelato too!
