Track Meet--First one for the Girls at SVdP

The girls were able to participate in their first track meet at SVdp. A few of the 7/8th grade girls were not going to be able to participate, so he brought up a few 6th grade girls. Anna placed third in the mile (6:08) and Elizabeth was 5th (6:21). Elizabeth got a bad start and was pushed around at the beginning. Anna was second in the 800 (2:47) and Elizabeth was 3rd (2:56). They also both ran the 4x400 and finished third. Jack set a PR in the mile (5:41) and finished third. He finished 3rd in the 800 (2:36) and the 4X800 finished second. He also ran in the 4x400 and finished 3rd). Kate did the triple jump for the first time and finished 6th (26-3.75) and long jump--8th (11-10). She ran the 400 (1:16) and finished 8th. She also finished 4th in both the 100 (15.09) and 200 (31.73). It was a cold, rainy day, but overall the kids had a great experience.
