Sneaking in Track Practice

We were home for a day so the girls got in hills and a track practice. Elizabeth decided to go to Jr. PGA practice instead of track. She ran 2 miles on her own to start to get ready for cross country.

AR Jr. PGA #3, Paradise Valley

The kids played in another Arkansas jr. PGA match. Kate had a great day minus a triple on #7 (she hit it into the water twice) and had her lowest round, 43. She tied with Anna, but Anna got the win because of a score card playoff. Elizabeth finished with a 45. She had two great putts. Geemaw and Peepaw were able to watch. Jack was 4th with an 88.

Pryor Jr.

Peepaw and Geemaw took Jack to the tournament today because the girls and I were in Tulsa for ballet. Jack struggled to start, but shot a 38 on the back to finish better.

AAU Regional Qualifier Track and Field Meet

The girls qualified to the regional meet a few weeks ago. Because they had dance camp at Tulsa Ballet during the week, they only ran on Saturday. Anna qualified in the 1500 and 800, but only ran the 1500 once she qualified. Kate qualified in the 800 with a PR, 2:44.82. Anna didn't run her best but finished with a 5:51.37. Elizabeth was 8th in the 1500 and 13th in the 800. Anna and Kate also ran the 4 x100 relay and finished 10th. This meet had over 1,000 runners and the top 6 in each event qualified to nationals next month in Houston. Elizabeth was bummed to miss qualifying with her sisters. Big life lesson for her.

Time at Kelsie's

The girls had a great afternoon after the golf match today with Kelsie. They decorated cookies, jumped on trampoline and did crafts.

AR Jr. PGA #2, Lost Springs

The girls played in the second AR jr. PGA tournament. Elizabeth and Anna tied for first with a 42 (Anna got the trophy because of the score card). This is Elizabeth's low round. Kate finished at 45, tied for 3rd with an eagle on the last hole! Jack play in the AR Jr. amateur championship yesterday (91) and today (83). He did much better today.

Nora is only 7!

Jack Wins Drive, Chip & Putt

Jack won the local Drive, Chip and Putt. He will go to Tulsa at the end of July to compete in the regionals. The girls ran hills with their track coach to prepare for the Regional meet this Saturday.

Some Nursing Homework

I made this for my Nursing Theory class this week. I plan to do my project on adolescents and low self-esteem.

Floating on the Elk River

Jack went with some friends today floating down the Elk River. I am not even sure what that all means...but he had fun and picked up a snake, then threw it when it moved!
