AR Jr. PGA State Golf Girls Tournament

Anna and Elizabeth both qualified in points to play in the Arkansas state golf tournament. Kate did not make it because she was knocked out by another girl that played all five tournaments (we only played four). Elizabeth struggled all day. The greens were tough. She ended with a 54. Anna started off rough, but finished better. She still had a high score for her, 49, but finished 3rd. She qualified to the Walter Hopper Tournament in Tulsa next month, but we will be at AAU Nationals in Houston, so we can't go.

Marie and Maggie are visiting this week, so we all drove up last night, stayed in Conway and drove to the course this morning. I realized on the way there my back tire was low. So, I had to drop it off at a tire store while the girls were playing. I had to use an Uber...and another one when the car was finished in the afternoon. The story ends with me leaving the girls in the bar (restaurant) eating lunch while I went back to get the car and coming back to the golf course to see there was a funeral luncheon going on and the girls were waiting outside. Needless to say, it was a very interesting day.
