Optimist Golf Championship- Miami

Jack qualified to the Optimist Golf Championship with the fees paid for in June and decided to go play. There were kids from all over the world there. John and Peepaw went with him. He played a practice round on Wednesday, then played on Thursday with a boy from Colorado and one from Bolivia. He shot an 83. He played on Friday at a different course and had the same score with kids from Ecuador and Panama. He made the cut by one, and we in 62nd after the first two days. He played better on Saturday, but finished bogey, double to shoot an 81. He ended up in 56th place after the three days combined. There were 117 boys that participated. He had a great experience and would like to do it again if he qualifies next year.
