Auxier-Wednesday

We drove to Auxier, KY today to meet up with the SVdP 8th grade class for a service trip for a few days. The class left yesterday and broke up the drive. They stopped in Indiana at Meinrad's to spend the night at the seminary. We stayed at hand-in-hand ministries which was an old school converted into dorms and rooms for workers to stay. The girls stayed with me, along with Kinley, Anna D., and Emma in a section that had 4 rooms and a bathroom. The rooms were old, with a need for some paint, but it was fine for the girls and one big sleepover. There was a park across the street the kids could hang out at and a game room inside the old school. This is a poor area in KY with less than 1000 residents. They will start to work in the morning helping people in the town.
