Optimist Qualifier

Jack finished second this year so he qualified again to the Optimist International Jr. Golf Championship in Miami again. He shot a 74. Kate finished first to qualify again this year. Last year she did not go because it conflicted with her AAU nationals. This year she thinks she wants to go. Anna finished second so she also qualified. She is deciding if she wants to fly or not...she is afraid of planes and she would have to fly home by herself (with Kate) because Jack's week is after the girls' week and John will just stay there. Kate sunk a long putt on 18 after a terrible drive to par the hole to beat Anna who also sunk a long putt on 18 to birdie that hole by one (88, 89). Elizabeth had a few bad holes and finished with a 93. She can go in Anna's place if Anna decides not to go. It was nice that Peepaw was there to watch them.
