New Year's Eve

We spent New Year's Eve with a few friends. The kids made s'mores, sang karaoke, and pretty much played (loudly) around the house. We did a count down around 9:00 pm for the kids. They loved the horns, hats and balloons. It was a fun night for everyone. The girls were so tired, we left around 10:30 and the girls were asleep before the ball dropped at 11:00 our time, but Jack made it to see the ball, then went to bed. He was tired too!

All the kids Jack's age were girls...but there were some younger boys for him to play with, too.

The Rest of Christmas Break in Indiana

We spent Sunday morning going to church and in the afternoon we went to Frazier's house to celebrate with PeePaw and GeeMaw. After snacks, the adults went to Cork 'N Clever for dinner that we have been doing for a few years now.

Granddad fell playing basketball with the kids and bruised his nose

Carties spent the vacation with his cousins at Mimi's house.

The ride home was interesting. With all the flooding, part of the highway was closed. Between that, a missed exit in St. Louis during rush hour and sleet/snow/rain most of the way home, it was a long ride home. Here is a picture of a bridge in St. Louis. The kids wanted to get the arch, but it was already dark and since we missed the exit, we didn't see the arch up close, so I took one if this cool bridge.

December 26th at Grandmom's and Granddad's

Before opening gifts. We had a big breakfast, then we finished up last minute wrapping, shopping and organizing gifts. The kids were anxious to open their gifts after sorting them into piles.

We got a family picture after church the next day in the beautiful dresses Grandmom made. There was a lot of time spent on these dresses and they turned out gorgeous.

Here are a few pictures of the girls twirling in their dresses. They love them!
