Nutcracker-- Battle Scene

There are only a few more practices left for the Nutcracker. They are rehearsing full scenes now and I have been watching each week. The girls are in the battle scene where the mice king (it is a actually a rat queen this year) appears with her mice and baby mice to fight the nutcracker and Clara. The nutcracker prince ends up killing the queen with his army of solders (and the baby mice cry--this is my favorite part of the little girls on stage). Then the Snow Queen appears and the snow dancers do a beautiful dance.

I snapped a picture through the window. The baby mice are sitting down here the older mice are standing and Clara is in the middle of the baby mice (can't see her).
