Sleepover and Rocky's Haircut

The girls had their friend Isabelle spend the night. They slept well and woke up in the morning and played some board games. Then we took Jack to his baseball camp and stopped for hot chocolate and donuts on the way home. Then we rode our bikes to the park and they played for a while before coming home and swimming and playing outside. We ended the day with pizza, showers and then we met Isabelle's mom to go blueberry picking!

Blueberry Picking

We wait for this every year. Our friend's own a blueberry farm and they opened for the first time tonight for U-pick, so we were there! The blueberries are so big and sweet. It didn't take too long to fill a gallon bucket. It is a school family, so we always go with a bunch of families. Yum!

First Week of Summer

Rocky is getting used to his bed. The girls put some temporary coloring in their hair and are telling me they are never going to wash their hair again...

Softball vs. Rogers Rock Stars

The girls won tonight, 16-2.  Elizabeth had 4 at-bats, 1 run, 3 hits with 1 double and 1 triple and 1 home run and one ground out. Anna had 4 at-bats, with 4 hits and 1 double. Kate had 4 at-bats with 2 hits, 1 double 2 RBIs and 1 strike out. They have earned 99 runs as a team this year!

Jack had a few friends spend the night on the first day of summer. They spent a lot of time alternating between playing baseball and cooling off in the pool.

Memorial Day Cook Out

We hosted some friends for a cook-out and swim party today. It was so much fun for the adults and kids. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and ate ribs, watermelon, cheese dip and chips, veggies, peach dump cake and cupcakes.
