Dude, You Hear What I Hear?

The 5th grade puts on the Christmas play every year with the third and fourth grade in the crowd. This year the play was Dude, You Hear What I hear?
The girls auditioned for speaking parts and singing parts near the end of October. They all wanted large parts. Elizabeth got the lead part! It is a story about a little girl who is very shy on a camping trip with friends. They stop at a store and Taylor gets left behind playing hide-n-seek. The mannequins come to life when the store closes. Taylor teaches them what the real meaning of Christmas is through the Story of Jesus' birth. Kate was the assistant to the store manager, Mrs. Jones and Anna was a camper named Brooke. They all did a nice job with learning their lines (all by themselves) and performing. Their voices were very good!

The 6/7/8th grade band and choir performed before the play. Jack was in the choir.
