Hummingbird

John got a hummingbird feeder and has enjoyed watching them come to eat. They are so fast!

 

A New Puppy

He has no name yet, and the kids do not know! We can pick him up August 26th! He us a cockalier (1/4 King Charles Cavalier and 3/4 cocker spaniel).

The girls helped me decorate my door today!

 

Dinner at Lake Hefner

We went back to Lake Hefner to eat dinner at Louie's and to see the lighthouse. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather and beautiful lake.

We found a cool park near Lake Hefner that the girls enjoyed after dinner tonight.

Running

We were able to run each morning and the girls did great, even in the heat doing 2-3 miles. We found different parks to run at, but this was our favorite, Lake Hefner.

Oklahoma City Ballet Jr. Intensive

After a summer of everything being cancelled, this was not. The girls went from 1:15-4:45 every day in a mask and although they did not love the mask, they did enjoy the intensive. The did about 2 hours of ballet technique and each day did another type of class. They loved modern, contemporary and jazz and didn't love character as much.

Rearranging Rooms

Grandmom and Granddad stopped by on their way home from Texas and did a little home improvements. She did their shelves with trophies, got new nightstands and Anna got a new bed! We also fixed Elizabeth's fan, put new toilet seats on and fixed their chairs.

Friends and New Ballet Booties

The girls had fun with their friends today swimming. They also were excited to open an early birthday gift: New ballet booties, which they loved!
