13U State Baseball Tournament

Jack had his final baseball tournament of the year this weekend. They played Friday night and lost 4-1, won on Saturday 5-4 and lost the first round of the bracket play Sunday. He played short stop and pitched. He walked and hit, but didn't make it to base safe. The game Saturday was probably the best he has played. He was put in to pitch with runners on second and third base, no outs and score was 5-4. He walked his first batter to load the bases. Then he struck out the next batter, and double play (fly out to right, and perfect throw to the catcher to get the runner on third who tried to tag up to make it home. An old teammate's mom whose team was playing after us grabbed a few pictures of Jack on the mound.
