Rocky Top, Rock Road, Road Boy

We had somewhat of a rough week. Rocky bit Lauren on the face Tuesday night which ended her in the ER with stitches. This is not the first time he has bit. After speaking to our vet a few times we came to the extremely difficult decision that we would have to put him down. He was such a great dog to us, extremely loyal and loved us to pieces. He was very territorial of any stranger that came into our house, however and protective of me. He would follow me everywhere, no matter where I went and he would greet us happily when we returned. He slept at my face every night and didn't move until the morning. It was probably one of the most difficult things I have done, put down a "healthy" dog, but Rocky was an anxious dog and not quite right in his head. We loved him dearly for four years. We told the kids, and it was hard for them to completely understand. We got him an ice cream cone and cheeseburger before we had to take him to the vet. It was so hard for all of us to say good-bye.

We called this white patch, his Rocky Top

He loved tennis balls

His favorite spot on the back of the couch

Rocky used to sit like this all the time
