AJGA Joplin Jr. Championship

Jack played in an AJGA qualifier on Monday in Joplin at Twin Hills Country Club. He finished T6 but lost in the playoff to make it into the championship (they only take 6). He shot a 74. He was first alternate but he got a call on Tuesday and he was allowed to play when one player dropped. He played in the pouring rain on Wednesday (34-42) to finish 4 over on day one. He came back on day two and shot a 73 (36-37), and finished the tournament on Friday with a 74 (38-36) to finish +7 for the 3 rounds. He was T22 and in the top half. There were some college coaches watching the kids and many of these boys are committed to play in colleges. It was a great experience for Jack and he finished well among these junior golfers.
