The girls had a great state meet! Peepaw and Geemaw were in town to visit and they were able to watch them. Jack came down to Fort Smith for the day and watched too. Anna ran in the 4x8 but they didn't stack it to win. The team came in 3rd. Anna was anchor and she was able to slow down a little to conserve her energy for her other three events. Their time was 10:00.65. She ran around a 2:33 split. All three girls ran in the 1600m and Rogers placed six girls in the top 8! Anna ran a 5:09.94 (5th). Kate ran a 5:12.41 (7th) and Elizabeth ran a 5:13.09 (8th). Anna did not run in the 400m even though she qualified because it was too close to the 1600 and she was also entered in the 800. Rogers went 1st-3rd in the 800m. Anna was 3rd (2:17.96), which was also a one second PR. Elizabeth and Kate ran in the 3200m. It was their first time doubling after their 1600. Kate came in 5th (11:30.76) and Elizabeth came in 6th (11:31.22). Anna ran in the 4x4 that finished 5th (4:10.46). Such a great way to end the season.
