The girls ran at Meet of Champs today in Hot Springs. It is a track meet with the top winners from all divisions around Arkansas in the state meets. It was pretty humid and hot for the first time this year. Anna was the first leg of the 4x800 team that was finally stacked for the first time this year. The girls--Sam, Lilly, Kayla, and Anna set a new state record with a time of 9:17.74. Anna ran around a 2:20 split. All three ran the 1600m. Anna was 6th (5:20.74). Kate was 8th (5:21.60), and Elizabeth was 10th (5:22.46). Anna was second in the 800m (2:20.06). Kate was 6th in the 3200m (11:48.45) and Elizabeth was 7th (11:54.20). This was their last track meet as freshman at Rogers.
