New Headbands

I found these headbands online for 99 cents! How cute are they! The best part about them is the bows can be changed, you just clip them on and off. I love the first two pictures, Kate and Elizabeth are holding hands--without any intevention from me!

Exersaucer

First time in exersaucer. I noticed I did not get any pictures of Kate in the exersaucer. Oh, that's because I didn't put her in it. She is such a good baby, I can put her  anywhere--on her tummy, back, in the bouncy chair, or under the play mat and she doesn't fuss or cry, so there is no need for a change of scenery for her!

Another new and fun thing tried this week: sippie cups with water. This didn't go over well with all three of them. Anna, once she figured out how to do it, got mad when she realized it wasn't food, Kate choked and spit up most of her water and Elizabeth did both, choked and got mad that it wasn't food. I remember this is a process to learn to like water from a cup.

Daddy-Daughter Time

Elizabeth was the lucky one this fine Saturday morning since she wakes up first from her naps ;)

You've Come a Long Way Baby(ies)

Friday the 13th. February, 13, 2009. I remember this day vividly. Do you? This was my first ultrasound of my second pregnancy. My OB had warned us he thought I was pregnant with twins. Well, we were in for the surprise of our lives. Not twins, triplets! I remember being so scared! What would my pregnancy be like? Would they be born premature? Will they be healthy? How will we raise triplets? What about Jack? Can I handle all this? After the ultrasound, we made several phone calls--no one even knew I was pregnant yet! I never felt so unprepared in my life. One day at a time. And we have made it this far.

Anna, Elizabeth and Kate--the first time we met our precious little girls
Measuring six weeks one day (except Elizabeth was slightly smaller)
Elizabeth, Kate and Anna--one year later. Just a few days shy of six months

I have said it millions of times, but not enough. We are so blessed to have such perfect children.

Formula Yogurt?

Jack has been getting his own yogurt for breakfast in the mornings when I am busy getting the girls ready. Today, I walked by him and realized he was using a formula scooper for a spoon! Wonders never cease!

Valentine's Day

Jack experienced his first Valentine's Day party at school. Well, actually he didn't. We bought some Valentines on Thursday and he and I wrote his name on each one. Then, he put heart stickers on each one. He has battled a virus all week and I debated on sending him to preschool today since he was coughing. I sent him and no sooner than returning home, I got a phone call to come pick him up. There has been a few other kids in his class with croup and the teachers explained they were trying to contain this virus. So, I went back to school. Jack's teachers are great. They packed his bag with the Valentines from the other kids and even sent him home with the cookie and drink box. He and I had the Valentine's party at home. I think he was just happy to have his bag of candy!
