Uh, Oh...I'm in Trouble...

The girls have been begging me to put on "leos" and do "mastics" and watch "-lympics" on TV. Here they are in Margaret's leotards...

Chicago Trip: Wednesday

Wednesday we spent the morning at Mrs. Martinez's house with her, Derek, Jason, Mrs. Meuer, Ethan and Eleanor. Mrs. Martinez has all the fun toys! My kids loved the water slide and the car ramp. Jack loved to see his old friends as did I. After visiting them we were able to spend the afternoon at the Scudders playing and relaxing. Jack had a blast playing with Nicky. It was a fun trip and so good to see everyone!

Jack took this picture of us--not too bad! And the kids running all over us is typical anyway!

Chicago Trip: Monday and Tuesday

The kids and I packed up the car on Monday to spend a few days in Chicago with family and friends. Once we made it there--and what was I thinking taking my four kids on a six hour car trip by myself--two year olds--potty--oh well, I made it the Scudders and it actually wasn't that bad.

Monday night, we took a stroll down our old street and saw our old neighbors. It is always nice to see them! Also, odd, since because all the kids have grown up so much!

On Tuesday, Jack had an eye appointment with his old opthalmologist. After the appointment, we took the kids to Edgewood pool. The girls all swam in the baby pool and Jack jumped off the low diving board, without a life jacket! He was so proud jumping and "swimming" to the edge in the deep water. After the pool, we visited more neighbors and our wonderful friends who were so helpful the girls' first year. The Beck's came once a week for an entire year--with meals to help take care of the babies. We all just loved Mrs. Beck and her daughter, Mary Rose. When we got to their house, Mary had picked out gifts for the girls--two barbies each! And they never leave out Jack. He got a few matchbox cars and batman figures. So nice. They also fed us ice cream sundaes! The girls had such a great time jumping on their trampoline and playing on their swing set.

Getting ready to jump!

Jack after he jumped off the diving board. I couldn't get him mid-jump with my slow phone.

Here are some picture of Marty and his brothers--our old neighbors when we lived here.

Last playdate--days before we moved. Can't believe how small the girls were!

Twins Days

Today we went to Twinsburg, Ohio for their annual Twins Day festival. The girls and I walked in the Double Take Parade this morning. I have to admit, seeing teenagers and adults dressed alike threw me for a loop! It was an odd picture. We saw two other sets of triplet girls (ages, 4 and 5) and 5 year old GGGG quads! Plus a TON of twins. They usually have around 2,000 twins that attend and it is the largest gathering of multiples in the world! It was hot, but fun. It was fun. I wasn't sure what to expect and didn't know if we would do it again, but I think we might. Maybe next year we can stay for the weekend.

John and Jack watched the parade, I am pulling the girls in the parade. Many people took pictures of the girls--I guess because there are not too many triplets and quads that attend--only six sets last year, not sure how many were there this year.
Anna was a natural--waving like she was Miss America. Maybe she will be Miss America like her daddy thinks is possible.

Near the entrance of the festival

This set of twins wanted their picture taken with the girls

More twins that wanted their picture with the girls

Nine year-old triplets with the girls

People taking their photo--everyone thought Anna and Kate were identical--I guess because of the their hair color?

Here are some other sets of twins--the theme this year was super heroes and quite a few people dressed up! They have prizes for the best family, best costumes, most look-a-like, etc.

The oldest set of twins there--97 years old!!
