Baseball Tournament--June Jam

Jack played in the June Jam this weekend. Saturday morning he had two strike outs and two ground-outs in 4 at-bats in the two pool play games. The team also lost both games after leading until the last inning in both! Saturday night they started the bracket play and they beat the Barracudas 10-5. Jack had two at-bats, one hit, one run and one fly out to center. He pitched an inning and 1/3. He had one walk and then one hit (home run!) one strike out and two ground outs. The second bracket game today was not finished due to rain, but the boys were losing 9-3. Jack had one at-bat and was walked.

Nashville

I was able to get to Nashville to spend the weekend with some old friends for Amy's 40th birthday party. It was a quick trip, but really a great time to catch up.

Picking Strawberries and June Movie

We saw Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Long Haul this afternoon with Vivianna after picking strawberries this morning. It was the tail end of the strawberry season, so we did not get that many berries, but they were still good.
