Basketball Games

The girls played in a team camp against St. Joe. There were only 8 girls of the 13 there. They lost the first game 4-8, won the second 4-12 (Elizabeth scored 6 in that one), and won the final game 8-12 (Kate scored one, and Anna made two free throws).

Treadmill Run and Fun at Griffing's House

After playing 18 holes in the 100+ degree heat, it was too hot to run outside, so the girls used the Griffing's treadmill to get their 3 miles in for the day. In between, they played with the toys and the dog!

AR State Jr. PGA Championship

Kate and Elizabeth qualified for the state championship in points. Anna did not play in two of the tournaments, so she finished 4th and they only let three go play. The tournament was in Sherwood, AR at The Greens at North Hills. The greens were tricky and it took a little bit for the girls to get used to them. They played better on the back. They tied for 5th overall with scores of 93. Kate was 49-44, and Elizabeth was 48-45 (with a 6 putt on the back). They were pretty happy with the way they finished up the season.
