HCAA Championship Game
The girls had their championship game in Ft. Smith tonight for 4A. They were seeded 8/8 so for them to be in the championship game was a win in itself. They played a team from west of Oklahoma City. They lost 42-15. Elizabeth scored 9 points, Anna scored 2, and Kate scored 2. The parents made cut out heads to cheer them on in the stands and after the game we all ate at Gusanos. They ended the season with 10 wins and 11 losses. It was a happy way to end the season.

Snow (and Ice) for Days
The ice started late Sunday night into Monday morning. The schools were cancelled and ended up being cancelled all week! We were able to get out a little and they rescheduled the girls' basketball games to Thursday and Friday (and it was odd going to a basketball game, but not going to school, that was a first!)
HCAA Tournament Game 2: Destiny Christian vs. SVdP
The team came from behind to win this game 25-23. They trailed the entire game by up to 5 points. With just over a minute to go, Anna hit a 3 to bring the score 21-20. Anna was fouled after they missed their shot, and it was 1-1. She made both free throws with 28 seconds left. Payton stole the ball and they fouled Kate. She also made both her free throws with 11 seconds to bring the score 20-15. They other team banked in a 3 right at the buzzer. The girls were so excited to win and to be going to the championship. Kate scored 10 points (two 3 pointers in the first quarter to put the girls back in the game), Anna scored 8, and Elizabeth scored 5 points.

HCAA Tournament Game 1: Providence vs. SVdP
The girls played against Providence today. They won 11-28. Kate scored 11, Anna scored 3, and Elizabeth scored 10 points.
