Run Bentonville Valentines Race

 The girls ran the Valentines race last year and they were in the picture this year to advertise it

Dopey Challenge: Sunday Marathon

 The final day--the marathon. It was a little cooler in the 50s which was welcomed. I ran with Beth and Margaret. We stopped for Margaret a few times in the first half. Around mile 17 it started to rain pretty hard. I decided to to finish up and see what I had left. I finished 10th in my age group with a time of 3:33.46. I had a negative split on my second half. I felt really good. Afterward, I got pictures with Dopey, Goofy, and Mickey and Minnie. It was a fun race. We went back to the hotel and then headed to the airport to catch our flight home. We made it back to NWA about 10:15 pm. It was such a long day!

Pitt State Indoor Meet

 Kate and Elizabeth competed at Pitt State in their first indoor state meet. They both PRd in the mile. Kate finished 10th 5:28.25. Elizabeth finished 11th 5:28.70. Elizabeth PRd in the 800 finishing 17th 2:29.32 and Kate ran a 2:29.76 finishing 20th. These times qualified them for the freshman races at New Balance Indoor Nationals in Boston. Anna was the biggest cheerleader!

Dopey Challenge: Saturday Half Half Marathon

 Because of the threat of severe weather, Disney shortened the half marathon to 7.1 miles. We decided to do a few miles before the race and a few after to get in the total 13.1 miles. There were a bunch of people doing 0.3 mile loops in the parking lot before and after the race. There was no rain (we finished before it started and there was no severe weather). I finished 7th in my age group. We rested in the hotel and went back to Disney Springs for dinner.
