The fireworks were rescheduled for tonight because of the rain last night. The city put on a great show that we could watch from our driveway. Our neighbors also set some off. Ollie was scared to death of the noise and hid in the closet during the show. Teddy was afraid outside, but inside he was ready to play.
Sarah made an ice cream cake for Marie's birthday next week. Happy Birthday Marie!
We go here every year, but this year we took the Wakefields and Druelles. The kids had fun going down for an hour and then we stopped at Short Stop Grille on the way home for ice cream cones.
Rogers was invited to the National High School championships in Frisco, TX because they were state winners. The boys fundraised over $10,000 to atttend. They had three different courses (so three practice rounds), then three rounds to the tournament. It was over 100* each day. Jack held it together and put three great rounds together. He finished +7 (73, 76, 74) and T76 in a field of over 300 golfers. Rogers team finished 21st. Jack had the highest finish on his team. John was there to watch him play. The boys had a great time hanging out together for 6 days. Jack got a new pair of golf shoes, sweatshirt, and golf polo.
