USATF Arkansas State Track and Field Meet

The girls competed in the state meet today. It was such a hot day they had a hard time in the heat. Kate ran the 200 in 30.03 (first), the 400 (1:10:96) for first and the 800 (2:48:76) for second. Anna won the 1500 (6:00:32) and the 800 (2:45:06) and ran the 200 (30:62) for second behind Kate. Elizabeth tried the 3000 (13:01:04) for second and ran the 1500 (6:07:94) for second. They all qualified for regionals, but we will be out-of-town so we can't run it.

Cheer

We had a cheer practice/fitting/swim party today. It was more swimming than anything else because it was so hot. It was a good first meeting and fun day for the girls. 

 

Patricia Island South Central Jr. PGA

The girls played in the Patricia Island golf match today. Anna had a great day and finished first. Kate did well, and had a fairly even day finishing with a 44 behind Anna. Elizabeth struggled today and finished third with a 49. Jack also had a rough day and finished with an 88 (5th).

Arkansas South Central PGA Junior Tour

The kids played in their first Arkansas Chapter of the South Central jr. PGA today in Fort Smith at Ben Geren. Elizabeth won with a 43, Kate was second with a 45 and Anna had a rough day and finished third with a 48. Jack finished second with an 82.
