Permits!

All three girls passed their driving test today so they are able to start learning how to drive! They can't get their license until they are 16, but need the extra time to learn. They saw an old grade school buddy there while they were taking their test. He passed too.

 We got a group picture today during our run. These ladies are some of my very best friends. 

Thanksgiving Week

 The girls and I stayed at the Wakefields after the race on Saturday until Monday. We drove to the condo early after Anna woke up with a fever. We unloaded and went for a walk after the long drive Monday. It rained on Tuesday, so we went to the outlets. Aunt Mary and Mimi left the kids $40 to spend. The girls had fun shopping. John and Jack drove to IUPUI to visit the school and meet with the golf coach. Jack really liked the school. They stayed in Rogers because Jack had two basketball games on Monday and Tuesday. They flew to FL on Wednesday. We had Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. We did a lot of walks on the beach and watched Christmas movies. John and Jack played golf on Friday. We drove back on Saturday and the girls had a sleepover at Kayla's house. It was a nice, relaxing week. 

NXR Race

 The girls ran at the regional nike cross meet today. It was a great day to run. Kate ran a PR of 18:38.70 and finished 51st. Anna ran a 19:36.20 and finished 124th. Elizabeth ran a 19:37.20 and finished 126th. The young Rogers team finished 6th out of 20 teams. Only two teams qualify out of regionals to nationals. The girls are hoping to qualify next year.
