Jack loves to play with everything! These are his Build-a-Bear's glasses. He also is into sunglasses, notebooks, pens, pencils, envelopes, finger painting, basket-ball, driving his jeep and hitting golf balls.

What the Girls are Playing With Now
Kate loves her glo-worm and stethoscope (and bink). Whenever we play in the basement, she will go and get these first thing.
Her last favorite item, her purse on her arm.
Stethoscope, baby, purse and coffee. Is she like her Mama or what?
Love her little face!
Going bye-bye. She will wave when she gets her purse on her arm.
Anna loves the cupcakes. She will spend a good amount of time putting these in and out of the pan.

Elizabeth is the follower. She likes the cupcakes too.
Elizabeth loves the play kitchen utensils.

On the Mend
After a week of illness, we are on the mend. What started out as strep throat last Friday (Jack), ended with all three girls and vomiting and fevers all nicely spaced about two days apart, so one would be recovering while the next would start in with the vomiting. I think I didn't do less than three loads of laundry every day this week! I once questioned why the previous owners of our house (who also built this house) put a garbage disposal in the laundry room, but after last week, I was thinking it was a smart idea.
Elizabeth was the last to get the bug. She still is not quite 100%, but she is finally has her appetite back.
First time in pig-tails
Anna loves the phone.
First time for pig tails for Anna, too!
No pig tails for Kate...she needs more hair.

Nineteen Months
The girls are now nineteen months! We enjoyed the weather today with an evening walk before bed. They love wagon rides and laugh and laugh in the wagon, especially when we go over bumps :)
As the girls age, it has been fun to see their personalities grow. It is interesting to see that how they were from their first moments of life continue to predominate how they act today. They love their big brother Jack so much! These little ladies are so different but so similar at the same time. They learn from each other. As they start to play together I think about the future and the close relationship they will always have and it makes me smile.
Anna is talking more each day. She says, 'ut oh', 'baby', 'Jack', 'doggie', 'open', 'diaper' and 'mama'. She also got two new teeth in the last few weeks. She now has 13 teeth! She loves to organize and clean up. She is constantly putting blocks away. She also loves dolls and puzzles. Anna recently has been dancing quite a bit which can put a smile on anyone's face. I think she gets her moves from John :)
Kate reminds me of John and is such a Scudder-look-a-like. She loves her paci, lovie, dolls and milk. She also will bring me books to read all the time. Kate loves her red shiny shoes and will bring them to me all the time to wear. She also loves music and dancing. Kate likes to wave bye and will do so spontaneously and appropriately. She has had a rough week with illness, but she is usually so happy!
Elizabeth has a great personality and contagious laugh. I absolutely love her laugh. She is very ticklish and we can get her to laugh when she is about ready to cry! She is very concerned about the doings of her sisters and keeps track of what they are doing all the time. She loves baby dolls, strollers and play food. She also loves her paci.

Dolls
The girls love their dolls and doll stroller. I think it is funny because I did not like to play with dolls when I was younger. Anna will say 'baby' and go and get her doll. They all will give them hugs, kisses and feed them with a bottle. Recently, Anna has started to wipe the doll's mouth! It is pretty cute to watch them interact day in and day out!

Big hug!
My Kate was sick today--most likely strep like her brother has. We started amoxicillin this afternoon so I hope she perks up soon.

Alexa's Baptism
Today we drove to Grand Rapids to visit my sister and family and celebrate our Goddaughter's Baptism. When we arrived at their house, Jack walked in and announced, "I'm here!" He is such a funny kid. After the announcement he disappeared downstairs and we didn't see much of him--too busy playing with all the kids. The girls scoped out the Druelle's house, finding all the teeny tiny toys to put in their mouths and climbing up and down the stairs. After mass and the ceremony, we drove back home with some very tired children!
We are glad to visit them considering every time we plan a trip to see each other it seems someone gets sick and the trip get postponed! Jack came down with strep throat on Friday and we quickly got his antibiotic so he could come with us today and not infect everyone. He was feeling good and he loved playing with his cousins.
Julie and Alexa. She is a beautiful baby!
So many helpers! Braden and Ambra help feed the girls.
