We took the kids to the Princess and Superhero Ball today. The Avon Lake PTA put it on and I was going to take the girls, but Jack wanted to go to (probably for the pizza and cupcakes!) so we all went. Jack might have been a tad on the old side, and he did not have a superhero costume, but he had fun with the balloon sword and dancing. The girls were so excited! I told them we were going to to meet the princesses and they were squealing with delight! They also could not believe they got to wear their dress-up clothes out of the house. They loved Belle the best, then probably Cinderella. I think they didn't really know who Ariel was--her costume was not quite as good and they really haven't watched the
Little Mermaid. The girls danced and danced! It was so much fun to see them so excited to see the princesses and to watch them dance together.
