Sunday in Galveston, Part Three--The Beach

Finally, we made it to the beach.The kids were looking forward to it all day. We didn't know how long the kids would last in the water because of the water temperature. The day was perfect to sit and watch them swim. It was mid 70s. They actually swam longer than we thought they would. And they loved every minute of it. I think we can safely take a beach vacation. They are finally old enough we could enjoy it and they would have a blast. We left Galveston around 6:30 with some very tired kiddos.

 

 The sand was a little hard, but they had fun anyway building sand castles
