Turkey Trot 2017

We ran a 5k as a family for the second time today in the Springdale Turkey Trot. Jack took a minute off his time from last year and finished 1st in his age group (11 and under) with a 25:29 or a 8:13 min/mile pace. Kate and Elizabeth tried to tie and held hands crossing the finish line, but Kate's chip time was 0:03 slower so she finished 4th in her age group and Elizabeth was 3rd. Their times were 26:58.6 and 26:58.9 (8:40 minute/mile pace). They took over 3 minutes off their times from last year. Anna finished with a 34:21 and took over a minute off her time from last year. She likes to do cartwheels during the race!
