White River Marathon

I have never earned a trophy for running until today. I ran the White River marathon in Cotter, AR. The race was small. I didn't run particularly well, but it was a tough race and I'm not sure anyone ran real well. The race started in 70 degree weather and 15 mph winds. It was very hot to run a marathon! I finished 4:06 which isn't my best time, but given the race conditions, I was glad to finish. I went with a group of friends that are younger than me, and they were laughing with me on my "Masters" trophy. I guess there are perks to turning 40!
