Saturday Evening: The White House and The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

Once we made it to the hotel and got some lunch, we walked to the White House. The fountain on the backside of the house was colored green for St. Patrick's Day. After walking there, we drove to the Basilica for mass and then toured the building. The church is so pretty and reminded me of the churches in Rome. After leaving the church, we got pizza at Pie Pizzeria near our hotel. We could walk almost everywhere (we had to drive to the church), and we ended up walking 7 miles!

Downstairs there were names of all the donors
The girls were excited to see a McCarty--because their best friend has that name. It was a different family.
Jack noticed right about McCarty was Babe Ruth!
Outside the church. The kids are all at the top of the stairs
