Trick-or-Treating in Downtown Rogers

The girls went trick-or-treating right after school because they had basketball practice at 5. They dressed as lifeguards with their friend, Emma. It was a beautiful afternoon--one of the best we have had in a while on Halloween. They made the newspaper!

 

8th Grade Halloween Party

The girls enjoyed a Halloween party with their classmates. Meanwhile, Jack went to his own Halloween party at a friends house. John and I went to dinner!

CAC Dinner

John and I drove to Little Rock for the Childrens Advocacy Center fundraiser. They recognized Jordyn Weiber and Susan Hutchinson. It was nice to meet Jordyn for the first time. 

 

OCA Dance

The girls had their first Jr. high dance at OCA. They went with Kinley, Anna D., Emma, and Payton and then spent the night at Kinley's house after. Kate was a little under the weather with a tummy bug, but mananged to power through. They loved the dance. Elizabeth danced with Carter and Kate told Jack B. she didn't want to dance with him.

 

Mock Trial

The 8th grade class did a mock trial over the short story they read. Anna was the main character, Elizabeth and Kate were juriors.

 

First Basketball Game vs. Union Christian

 The girls played in their first basketball game of the season. They have made it to about 3.5 practices because of cross country overlap. They did not get to start, but they all got to play. Kate scored one basket and Anna scored two baskets. The team lost, 17-28.
